Skye and the distillery tour was very good, Kate our Raasay guide was very informative. Shame it rained all day ?? The following day Skye again, but in the sunshine ?? Dungevin Castle was a lovely visit, in the castle itself and the beautiful gardens. Also the visit to Dunrobin Castle, beautiful gardens once again looking out to the sea. Train and coach journeys were good, even though a few problems with Scot Rail. Our guide Rob was fab though sorting the problems out and coming up with the best solutions. The food was mostly good in the 3 hotels, however having to preorder your meals months in advance was a bit of a pain. And dinner at 7:30 was late for us, still eating pudding at 9pm?? the hotels were lovely, and most of the staff were lovely too!! And our group, 18 plus Rob were fab, we got on so well, and this, plus the stunning scenery made our holiday so great ??

A really interesting trip around the North of Scotland. The small group size made the visits to the archaelogical sites on Orkney and the various castles and gardens really interesting and unrushed.
